HIC's brokerage and property management company Harkinson Dewan Commercial has 200 tenants in its portfolio and a leasing staff with a combined 55 years of experience. Harkinson Development is engaged in 250 acres of greenfield development projects.

HIC invests opportunistically in retail, industrial, flex, and office projects in high-growth and emerging markets. Using our on-the-ground expertise and ability to act quickly, we allocate to sectors and localities that offer favorable risk/reward ratios but tend to be overlooked by institutional equity.

130-acre commercial development project at the NWQ of US Hwy. 75 and FM 1417 in Sherman, TX, next to $6B Global Wafers chip factory. Includes 24 acres sold to H-E-B in 2025 for a future grocery store.

Bearcat Crossing
15-acre commercial development project at the NEQ of FM 1417 and W. Travis Street in front of the new $160 million Sherman High School.

Colony Hard 8
8.7 acre commercial development tract in The Colony on Memorial Drive, across SH 121 from Nebraska Furniture Store and Grandscape.
